YO.OTGONBAYAR MEETS CHINA'S MINISTER OF CULTURE
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The Minister of Education, Culture and Science Yo.Otgonbayar has exchanged views with Mr. Cai Wu, the Minister of Culture of the People's Republic of China on the bilateral relations cooperation in culture and deepening the ties.
At this meeting, held last week in Beijing, China, Yo.Otgonbayar highlighted "fruitful development of the cultural ties and cooperation that has been taken place thanks to efforts of the two countries' authorities of culture". Then he invited Mr. Cai to visit Mongolia.
Mr. Otgonbayar put forward some proposals to the Chinese side, including augmenting a number of Mongolian students studying in China's cinema and design universities and institutes, cooperating in a protection of cultural heritage, combating an illegal trade of cultural pieces.
In response, Mr. Cai appreciated the visit of the Minister's visit and wished him a success in running a "Mongolian cultural month" event which started in China.
