VICE MINISTER P.BAYANMONKH VISITING JAPAN

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ In Japan, the Vice Minister of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry of Mongolia P.Bayanmonkh has exchanged views on the cooperation with Ms. Hiroko Nakano, the State Secretary of Japan's Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, within his working visit running these days.


Mr. P.Bayanmonkh said the Mongolians always grateful to Japan for the great assistance to their country and expressed a willingness of Mongolia to develop with Japan the mutually beneficial cooperation based on the Mongolian reserves of animal husbandry, land farming and mineral resources and onthe Japanese latest hi-tech and "know-how".

The Vice Minister put forward some proposals to the Japanese side to seek an an opportunity for Mongolia to export agricultural and light industrial products to Japan without tax in frames of the economic partnership and cooperation agreement to be established between the two countries, to implement projects on supporting family farming, and to cooperate in boosting he co-operatives in rural areas.

In frames of the working visit, the Vice Minister also plans to meet Japan's Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs, authorities of the union of agricultural co-operatives for holding talks on expanding the cooperation, and to leg Japan's Exchange of Agricultural Products and Raw Materials.
