Scorpions beamed live to Mongolia

MONDAY'S clash between North Wales Crusaders and South Wales Scorpions could have a worldwide audience of millions.

The Co-Operative Championship 1 clash is to be screened in more than 30 countries around the world.

The match at The Racecourse, which kicks off at 5pm, is being filmed by Premier Sports TV and shown live on their channel on Sky in Great Britain and Ireland.

It is also being beamed live to Australia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei, Mongolia, Singapore, Sri Lanka and Thailand.

African countries such as South Africa, Angola, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Ethiopia, Ghana, Malawi, Nigeria, Rwanda and Tanzania will also show the game.

Wales Rugby League's general manager Mark Rowley said: "We are delighted that one of the biggest club games to have ever been played in Wales will be seen by millions of people in many different countries around the world.

"We are pleased with how the Scorpions and Crusaders have developed."
