"RURAL DEVELOPMENT" DRAFT NAT'L PROGRAM BACKED
Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ A two-times increase will be observed in both families' incomes and a poverty rate, as the "Rural development" national program says.
On Wednesday, the cabinet backed a draft resolution on approving this national program and decided to submit it to parliament. It is expected that a dependence of a herder family's livelihood on climate and raw materials' price will reduce, and that rural people will enjoy the equality in having the social services. Moreover, all soums and their biggest bagas (the smallest administrative unit in localities) and villages will be provided with energy and communications services, and financial authorities will appear in all soums.
