NSC: POVERTY RATE GOES DOWN

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ In 2011, the poverty rate declined to 29.8 per cent by 9.4 per cent against the year 2010.

It was reported on Wednesday by S.Mendsaikhan, the head of the National Statistical Committee (NSC) at a news conference. The poverty rate has been measured by means of statistical figures based on families socio-economic indicates of 2011, together with the World Bank (WB).

Such factors have played a role in this decrease as going up incomes of rural and city families, pensions and salaries rise, and a cash money issued from the Human Development Fund.
