Mon dieu! France gets own ‘Jersey Shore’

When the kids on “Jersey Shore” say “oui, oui,” it usually refers to what happens after a long night of drinking.

Not anymore.

The wildly popular reality show is being adapted for France sometime this summer, according to reports.

And if you doubted that the show Snooki started is a worldwide phenomenon, consider this: the original “Jersey Shore” is now shown in 150 countries including Mongolia.

Still, the French “Shore” — or “Plage” to use the local lingo — will be only the second officially sanctioned foreign version.

Britain created its own version last year called “Geordie Shore.”

But there are other overseas knock-offs including the Irish “Jersey Shore” called “Tallafornia,” which drew more than 1,000 applicants over the weekend for two or three openings in the cast for Season 2, according to reports.
