ISS WANTS TO DETERMINE RISKS IN MONGOLIA'S ECONOMY

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia /MONTSAME/ The Institute of Strategic Studies ISS (at National Security Council) organized on Tuesday a round-table meeting themed "Risks facing the economic security".


Main objectives of the meeting are to determine the biggest risks in Mongolia's economy and to find out ways to solve them. As expected, it will help the ISS in drafting criteria of the economic security of Mongolia.

This meeting brought together researchers from the Institute of Defense Sciences, the Institute of International Studies, the Institute of National Development, the National Institute of Law, and the Center of Economic Policy and Competitiveness.

Reports and information were given by scholars of the National Development and Innovation Committee, the Institute of Economics at the Mongolian State University (MSU), the Institute of Finance and Economics, the Defense Ministry, with themes "Economic security and state policy", "The biggest risks in Mongolia's economy, ways to solve", "Urgent problems facing budgetary and financial securities", "Present situation of investment, possible risks" and "Problems in mineral resource and energy, present situation of economic multi-pillar structure, solutions".
