Elections are more significant than the minister’s resignation

Chief of the MPP caucus U.Enkhtuvshin informed journalists on Tuesday about the caucus decision of simultaneous running of parliamentary and the capital elections in June.

The DP caucus has sent a proposal of simultaneous running of parliamentary and the capital elections. 

The MPP caucus has agreed about the proposal and aimag and soum managing officials’ elections would be held in autumn. Besides, the DP caucus has suggested recess limit of groups at Parliament. Working groups of the two caucuses will jointly decide the issue, added U.Enkhtuvshin.

The MPP caucus has sent its decision to the DP, said U.Enkhtuvshin. Journalists asked about discussion deadline of resignation issue of Justice and Internal Affairs Minister Ts.Nyamdorj. But U.Enkhtuvshin noted that local elections’ issue is more crucial than the minister’s resignation. He said the caucus will discuss the minister’s resignation.
